What do I get for the money?
You will receive EVERYTHING you need to successfully start up your business! You will get
a beginning inventory and all the equipment to design, assemble, cellophane wrap and even

Why can’t I do this on my own?
Some vendors will not sell to new or home-based companies and if they do, the minimums are
extreme. Well, we've changed all of that for our clients! We are familiar with our main
suppliers, the quality of their products and have negotiated discount prices for our
distributors. What does that mean to you? Lower prices, the best products in the world,
reliable suppliers, and non-perishable inventory with an extended shelf life. No worries
about spoilage or excessive storage or refrigeration. You'll reorder your products
directly from the vendors and they usually ship out that very day directly to your front
door step. Just by stating that you are a Le Gourmet Distributor, you will have access to
the best vendors, the finest products and the most prestigious support group of experts in
the gift basket industry.
Where do I get clients?
Orders generated from the Le Gourmet web site will be referred to our distributors. We do
not charge for referring these clients to you. You will pay no fee or give up any of the
profits that you receive from corporate-referred orders. Also, when referrals originate
from our other distributors, you pay a small percentage directly to that distributor for
the order and keep the majority as profit - that way everyone wins. We work as a
team and support each other every step of the way! After our company was profiled on ABC's
20/20 orders came in by the hundreds before the show was over! Our pristine reputation for
customer service and product design will give you immediate recognition as a professional
designer with your own top notch basket company. You'll be directly affiliated with Le
Gourmet, the finest and most profiled basket company in the world! In addition, your
training will show you how to market and obtain customers locally and via the Internet.
How do you decide who gets the
referrals?
We use a city zip code basis. This means that if an order comes in for Miami, Le Gourmet
Gift Basket, Inc. will locate the closest licensee in that area to fill the order. If that
licensee is not available to fill that particular order, we will refer the customer to the
next candidate but we are very careful to make sure that orders are reasonably and fairly
distributed. Even if you live in the country or suburbs of a major city, you can be sure
that we will be monitoring the dispersal of orders so that all distributors get a fair
share.
How many referrals will we receive?
Le Gourmet Gift Basket, Inc. gets referrals from many sources. For example, a recent
licensee received 54 orders in one day from our corporate office! Look for stories on Le
Gourmet in major newspapers and magazines across the nation. We were featured in Time
Magazine, The Today Show, Fox News and ABC'S Money Matters all within two weeks! So, we'll
make sure that you get the most from our publicity.

How do I get new clients
besides referrals from the corporate office?
You will easily find clients in your area when you send out brochures and letters that we
provide you. We also include in your package beautifully marketing materials that will
keep your clients coming back.
Also, all distributors work together to support each other. So, if a distributor in
Canada needs to send a basket to the States, they will request that one of our
distributors fill the order. It makes sense rather than trying to send a basket through
customs which can take a long time. Sometimes our distributors simply can't send a basket
fast enough. For instance, if a distributor in California needs to get a basket to Florida
the next day, it is more practical and less expensive for the client if the order is
referred to the Florida distributor. We all refer to one another and build each other's
businesses--that kind of support is invaluable to have as you embark on your brand new
business.
Most importantly, the products will sell themselves! Recently Le Gourmet conducted a
training in a hotel conference room and when our new distributor was departing, the hotel
manager approached her about the baskets- he hired her on the spot to make all VIP,
Employee, Guest and convention baskets!

other business enterprises. In this age of politically-correct gift-giving, gift baskets

special, a client or absolutely anyone who loves to receive a gift of food, bath products,
baby items or any other theme you can think to give. We never have difficulty finding
clients to buy our gift baskets-after all who doesn't want to deal with a full service

hotel lobby or office building with one of our baskets, and you'll be approached with

How much money can I make?
The sky is the limit. You can make as much money in this business as you want. Some
individuals choose to work only a few hours a week, but running your business on a

profit is between 50% to 60% on each basket. When you sell a $100.00 basket, you'll make
$60.00. Remember, we negotiate additional deals available only to Le Gourmet Distributors

Basket, Inc. The baskets take an average of 8 minutes each to make, so your profit margin

How much room do I need to run my
business from home?
You can easily run this business from your home in a spare room or even from your dining
room table. A small closet can store your products and the baskets can be stacked in any

How long will it take me to get my

The Le Gourmet Gift Basket, Inc. license fee includes all the necessary tools you will
need to enable you to begin selling almost any gift basket immediately. You will receive
our full support, guidance and assistance from the beginning so that you can immediately
begin your marketing campaign and bring in sales while building an impressive client list.
Our distributors have shown great success as soon as they've opened their doors. Set up is
easy for you since our experts have done all of the leg work necessary for you to get

Can I use a credit card to purchase
a Distributorship?
Yes, Le Gourmet Gift Basket, Inc. accepts all major credit cards including MasterCard,
Visa, American Express, and Discover. We also accept checks and money orders.
Can I start a distributorship with
a partner?
If you decide you'd like to go into this business with a partner, no problem. We'll train
an additional person for no charge and even provide you with a complimentary partnership
agreement.
Can I have an attorney or accountant review
the Le Gourmet agreement before I sign on?
Absolutely! We encourage your confidence in Le Gourmet Gift Basket, Inc. by
providing a copy of our agreement before you join our family. You may have your attorney,
accountant, or any other advisor you choose review it first. You can also contact the

What other fees do I have to pay
besides the one-time start up fee?
You pay nothing additional during the first 12 months of your business. We charge no
royalty or referral fees. After your first twelve (12) months, we ask that you annually
renew your membership at a flat costs of only $180 (just $15 per month).

You will be the best in the business and can offer yourself the security of making your
